For three generations, we have preserved time-honored recipes passed down to children and grandchildren by Nonna Gina, who opened her first bakery in Misano Adriatico back in 1924. Even today, our industrial production draws upon those precious recipes, the ancient art of baking, and a genuine passion for baked goods. In 2001, we embarked on our journey into the world of frozen foods. There were countless mistakes, tons of wasted product, unsuitable equipment, inadequate facilities, and the constant temptation to simply give up. Fortunately, our love for the work and an unwavering determination to transform our production process led us to establish a state-of-the-art facility featuring innovative production lines.
Vaccani
Founded in 1906 in the province of Lecco, Vaccani is a historic Italian bakery with more than a century of experience in traditional breadmaking. Generations of skilled bakers have preserved the company’s artisanal heritage, producing bread, focaccia, pizza and baked specialities with carefully selected ingredients and meticulous attention to the leavening process.
Today, Vaccani is particularly renowned for its pre-baked Pinsa Romana bases, created with a blend of wheat, rice and soy flours, enriched with sourdough and slowly leavened to achieve a light, fragrant texture that is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
Free from preservatives and additives, Vaccani’s ready-to-use bases offer restaurants, pizzerias, bars and food-service professionals an authentic, versatile and convenient expression of Italian baking excellence.
